Purfurry Consent & Agreement Form
Between Pet Parent (Customer) and Pet Care Provider
Facilitated by Purfurry LLP

1. Purpose
This form confirms that both the Customer (Pet Parent) and the Provider (Boarder/Groomer) agree to use the Purfurry platform responsibly and in compliance with all its current and future terms, conditions, and policies.
2. Acknowledgment
By signing this agreement:
You understand that Purfurry is a booking platform and does not directly provide pet care services.
You accept that all bookings are private agreements between the pet parent and provider. You agree to follow all Purfurry policies, safety guidelines, and platform rules,even as they are updated in the future.
3. Consent to Policies
Both parties agree to:
Review and follow all Purfurry policies as shared on the platform or website.
Accept that Purfurry may update its terms and conditions, and continued use implies acceptance. Use the platform’s messaging and booking tools to ensure safe and clear communication. Handle all interactions, bookings, and potential disputes professionally and respectfully.
4. Liability and Responsibility
Customers are responsible for choosing a provider that fits their pet’s needs.
Providers are responsible for offering safe, legal, and high-quality home-based care.
Purfurry is not liable for damages, disputes, injuries, or losses related to bookings made on the platform.
5. Privacy and Communication
All updates, photos, and communication must be shared respectfully and securely.
Contact details may only be exchanged after a confirmed booking.
Purfurry may request permission to use feedback or media for marketing, but consent will always be asked.
6. Agreement to Follow Platform Rules
By using Purfurry, both parties agree to:
Follow all Purfurry rules, safety standards, and local regulations.
Not misuse the platform for fraudulent, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior.
Accept that Purfurry may suspend or terminate accounts that violate its guidelines.
7. Legal Consent
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Pune, Maharashtra. Disputes should be reported to Purfurry first for support.
Signing this form confirms that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree.
8. Background Verification & Identity Consent Clause
Authorization for Verification: The Provider (defined as Pet Boarders, Daycare Providers, or Groomers) hereby provides their explicit and irrevocable consent to the Company to conduct comprehensive background and identity verification. This process includes, but is not limited to:
Identity Verification: Validation of the Provider’s identity through Aadhaar Card verification, facilitated via the Cashfree (or current third-party service provider) gateway.
Criminal & Professional Records: Checking for any prior records via relevant judicial databases to ensure the safety and security of the community.
Data Usage & Privacy: The Provider acknowledges that their sensitive personal information (including Aadhaar numbers and biometric data if applicable) will be shared with authorized third-party verification partners for the sole purpose of establishing trust and security on the platform. The Company agrees to handle all such data in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.
Condition of Service: The Provider understands that the successful completion and "Clear" status of these background checks is a mandatory prerequisite for on-boarding and continued use of the platform. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Provider's account if any information provided is found to be fraudulent or if the background check yields unsatisfactory results.

Purfurry Payment & Commission Policy (Effective from: 21/09/25)
At Purfurry, we are committed to building a trusted, high-quality community where pet parents can discover and book reliable home-based pet boarders. To support our hosts and ensure a seamless experience for all users, we maintain the following payment and commission structure.
1. For Pet Parents (Customers)
Platform Service Fee: 3.5%
A 3.5% platform service fee is applied to each booking subtotal (excluding taxes). This fee supports:
Enhanced search and matching to find the perfect local host.
On-boarding and vetting of reliable home boarders.
Customer support and secure booking management.
Our goal is to provide pet parents with peace of mind, knowing their pets are in a loving home environment, while ensuring complete transparency in pricing.
2. For Home Boarders (Hosts)
Provider Commission Rate: 15%
Purfurry retains a 15% commission on each completed booking. This commission enables:
Targeted marketing to connect you with pet parents in your area.
Seamless booking and secure payment processing.
Easy-to-use tools to manage your calendar and pet listings.
Access to a platform built specifically for individual pet lovers and home-based hosts.
We value our community of hosts and work closely with you to help you grow your home boarding presence while providing a safe, supportive ecosystem for every pet.
3. Summary
Our pricing structure reflects our focus on quality, trust, and community value. By keeping rates competitive, Purfurry empowers pet parents to access personalized home care while helping individual boarders manage their bookings effectively.

Cancellation Policy
At Purfurry, our boarders are individual pet lovers hosting in their own homes. Because they have limited space and often turn away other bookings to hold a spot for your pet, we maintain a single, platform-wide cancellation policy.
1. The Refund Criteria
To receive a full refund, a cancellation must meet both of the following conditions:
✓ The 12-Hour Window: The cancellation must be made within 12 hours of the initial booking time.
✓ The 48-Hour Lead Time: The cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the booking (Boarding, Daycare, or Grooming) is scheduled to begin.
2. Non-Refundable Bookings: If either of the above conditions is not met, the booking is considered non-refundable.
3. Zero Refund: If you cancel after the 12-hour booking window has passed, or less than 48 hours before the start time, 0% of the booking fee will be refunded.
4. In-Progress Bookings: No refunds are provided for cancellations made after the service has already started.

Our home boarders rely on these bookings. This policy ensures that if a spot is reserved, the boarder is compensated for their time and the lost opportunity to host another pet. By completing a booking on Purfurry, you agree to these terms for all individual boarders on the platform.

1. Liability Policy
For Pet Parents (Customers)
Purfurry is a digital platform connecting pet owners with individual Home Boarders and pet lovers. All pet care services are independently operated by these private Hosts. Purfurry is not a provider of pet care services. Therefore:
• Host Independence: Home boarders are not employees of Purfurry. They provide care in their private residences.
• Risk Acceptance: Purfurry is not responsible for any loss, injury, illness, death, theft, or escape of a pet during a stay.
• Property & Personal Damage: Purfurry is not responsible for property damage or injuries caused by the pet to the Host’s home or family.
• Due Diligence: Pet parents accept full responsibility for evaluating a Host’s home environment and profile before booking. Purfurry performs identity verification and interviews but does not conduct criminal background checks. Pet parents are responsible for their own due diligence.
• Liability for Pet Conduct: All responsibility for harm caused by a pet to another animal, person, or property rests solely with the pet parent. It is the pet parent’s duty to ensure their pet is well-behaved, vaccinated, and suitable for a home environment.
• Pet Insurance Recommendation: We strongly recommend that all pet parents obtain comprehensive pet insurance. Purfurry does not provide insurance coverage. It is your sole responsibility to secure protection for accidents, illnesses, or emergencies.
For Home Boarders (Hosts)
• By registering, Hosts confirm their home is a safe, secure, and pet-friendly environment. Host Responsibility: Purfurry is not responsible for damage to your home, injury to your family/pets, or medical emergencies involving a guest pet.
• Abandoned Pets & Legal Support

Definition of Abandonment: A pet is considered "Abandoned" if the Pet Parent fails to collect the pet within [e.g., 24-48] hours of the scheduled checkout time and has failed to respond to reasonable attempts at contact by the Host or Purfurry.

Host Responsibility & Local Laws: In the event of abandonment, the Host (Pet Care Provider) must comply with local animal welfare laws. While Purfurry will assist in communication attempts, the Host is responsible for the physical care and eventual legal disposition of the animal in accordance with regional regulations.

Purfurry’s Facilitation of Legal Action: Purfurry bears no direct legal or financial liability for the abandonment. However, to protect our community of Hosts, Purfurry will facilitate the Host’s right to pursue legal recourse against the Pet Parent. This support includes:

Data Release: Providing the Host with all collected declarations, identity verification (Aadhaar), and contact details of the Pet Parent.

Evidence Logs: Providing official booking records and communication transcripts required for filing a lawsuit or police report.

Administrative Support: Assisting the Host in organizing the necessary platform-generated documentation to prove a breach of contract.

Indemnification: The Host acknowledges that any lawsuit or criminal complaint is initiated by the Host in their personal capacity. Purfurry is not a party to such litigation and is not responsible for legal fees, damages, or the ultimate recovery of costs from the Pet Parent.

Reporting to Authorities and Credit Impact: The Pet Parent is hereby notified that in cases of confirmed abandonment, Purfurry will assist the Host in filing a formal First Information Report (FIR) with the local police under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act; additionally, the Company reserves the right to report the default in payment and breach of contract to credit bureaus and relevant background-check databases, which may permanently affect the Pet Parent’s credit score and future eligibility for services.

Financial Liability for Extended Care: In the event of abandonment, the Pet Parent remains legally liable for all boarding fees, medical expenses, and specialized care costs incurred by the Host from the original checkout date until the legal resolution or the pet's re-homing. The Pet Parent agrees that their Aadhaar-linked details will be used to facilitate the recovery of these dues through formal legal channels
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy (The "Purfurry Standard")
• To protect the limited space available in a private home, the following platform-wide policy applies to all individual boarders:
• Full Refund Criteria: A full refund is honored ONLY if the cancellation occurs within 12 hours of making the booking AND at least 48 hours before the service (Boarding/Daycare/Grooming) begins.
• Zero Refund: If the 12-hour window has passed OR the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start time, 0% refund will be issued.

3. Messaging and Communication Policy
• Platform-Only Messaging: For your safety and a record of agreements, all communication must happen via Purfurry.
• Home-Care Details: Customers should use the chat to ask about the Host's home layout, resident pets, feeding routines, and exercise plans.
• Off-Platform Contact: Sharing personal phone numbers before a booking is confirmed is strongly discouraged and may lead to account penalties.
4. Live Image & Feed Sharing Policy
• Host Updates: Home Boarders are encouraged to send photos/videos of the pet’s stay through the Purfurry platform.
• Home Privacy: Updates should focus on the pet. Content should not include other clients' pets or private areas of the Host’s home without consent.
• Social Media: Hosts may not post photos of a guest pet on personal social media without the pet parent’s written permission.
5. Dispute Resolution and Liability
• Purfurry LLP acts solely as a technology platform. All bookings are direct agreements between the pet owner and the individual Host.
• General Disclaimer: Purfurry does not supervise or control the safety of private homes.
• No-Liability Scenarios: Purfurry disclaims all responsibility for:
• Pet-to-pet aggression in a Host’s home.
• Theft or property damage within a private residence.
• Medical events (illness, allergies, ingestion of household items).
• Acts of nature (escapes during storms/fire).
• Indemnification: Users agree to hold Purfurry LLP harmless from any legal or financial claims arising from a home boarding engagement.
• Jurisdiction: All disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India, and settled in Pune courts.
6. Termination Policy
• User Termination: You may deactivate your account at any time, provided all active home stays are completed or resolved.
• Purfurry Termination: We reserve the right to remove any Host or Pet Parent for:
• Safety concerns in the home environment.
• Misrepresentation of a pet’s behavior or health.
• Inappropriate conduct or harassment.
• Repeated poor reviews or policy violations.
7. No-Show Policy
• Customer No-Show: If the pet is not dropped off at the Host’s home, the Host retains the full booking amount (0% refund). Hosts should wait 30 minutes before declaring a no-show.
• Host No-Show: If the Host is not available to receive the pet at the agreed time, the customer receives a full refund (including platform fees).

Once a booking is confirmed, specific contact details and addresses are shared for drop-off and pick-up coordination.
b. With Service Providers
We share data with trusted vendors for payment processing, analytics, and technical operations. These vendors are obligated to protect your data.
c. For Legal or Regulatory Reasons
We may disclose info to comply with legal obligations, investigate fraud, or protect the safety of our users and pets.
4. Data Retention and Security
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide services and comply with the law. We employ industry-standard encryption and secure data centers to protect your information. As a user, you are responsible for maintaining a strong password.
5. Your Rights and Choices
• Access and Correction: View or correct your account info via your dashboard.

8. How to schedule "Video Call"?
For home boarding, a Video Call is highly recommended! You can coordinate a time for the pet and parent to schedule a video call via our in-app messaging system.
9. What if the customer is a No-Show?
If a customer doesn't show up for a confirmed booking, you are protected. Per our policy, the booking becomes non-refundable, and you may retain the payout.
10. Can I assess a pet’s temperament before accepting?
Absolutely. We encourage a quick video call before finalizing a booking to ensure the pet is a good fit for your home and any resident pets you may have.

12. How do I find a Host on Purfurry?
Use our search tool to find Hosts in your neighborhood. You can filter by home type (apartment vs. house), yard access, and whether the Host has their own pets.
13. Why Purfurry instead of other apps?
We focus on quality over quantity. Every Host is vetted, our payment system is secure, and we enforce a standard cancellation policy that protects both the pet parent and the local Host.

While our Hosts are not vets, they are required to have an emergency plan. You should provide your preferred vet’s contact info to the Host via the messaging system before the stay begins.
17. How do I contact the Provider?
Use our built-in chat! For safety and transparency, we ask that all communication remains on the platform until the booking is confirmed.
✓ Taxes & Payouts FAQ
18. Will I receive tax documents from Purfurry?
No. All payouts are handled through Stripe. If you meet the legal earning threshold for your region, Stripe will provide the necessary tax documentation directly.
19. Where can I see my total earnings?
You can track every rupee in your Host Dashboard under the "Earnings" tab. This shows your completed bookings and pending payouts.
20. When do I get paid?
Once the booking is marked as "Completed," the funds are released. Stripe typically processes these into your bank account within a few business days.
21. Will you create an invoice?
Yes. A system-generated invoice is created for every booking under the Purfurry name, showing the subtotal, service fees, and any taxes.
Purfurry 5K Pet Protection Plan
The Purfurry 5K Pet Protection Plan is a voluntary, discretionary reimbursement program provided by Purfurry LLP. It is not an insurance policy, and Purfurry is not an insurance provider.
• Maximum Limit: Any reimbursement is strictly capped at a maximum of INR 5,000 per booking, regardless of the total cost of the incident.
• Discretionary Nature: Eligibility for reimbursement is determined solely at the discretion of Purfurry. Purfurry reserves the right to deny any claim that does not meet our safety guidelines.
• Goodwill Gesture: By using the platform, you acknowledge that this plan is a "goodwill gesture" and does not constitute an admission of liability by Purfurry for any loss, injury, or damage.
• Secondary Coverage: This plan is secondary to any existing pet or home insurance. It only applies to bookings confirmed and paid for through the Purfurry platform.
• No Legal Entitlement: This program does not create a legal obligation for Purfurry to pay for any medical or property costs beyond the stated voluntary cap.
